Samsung appears to be taking the camera technology race a step further by planning to develop a 500MP sensor for future Galaxy devices. While the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra will continue to use the same 200MP sensor as its predecessor, Samsung may be preparing for a bigger leap forward with its camera hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report from Jukanlosreve, a reputable source on the X\/Twitter social network, Samsung is currently researching a 500MP sensor. If true, this sensor will bring superior image quality and significantly improve the company’s competitiveness in the market. This information shows that Samsung is not only focusing on improving the camera but also aiming to lead the imaging technology in the mobile industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the 500MP sensor, Samsung is also said to be developing a 3-layer stacked image sensor in the PD-TR-Logic configuration specifically for Apple.
