Samsung is expected to launch the world’s largest Mini LED TV in 2025, marking a major step forward in the competition in the ultra-large TV market. At 115 inches, the new product line will rival the same-sized TV that leading Chinese brand TCL launched this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Korean media, Samsung plans to release a 115-inch TV in the European market next year. Model numbers such as \u201cQE115QN90FTXZU\u201d and \u201cQG115QN90FTXXG\u201d have been registered, confirming the presence of the product in major markets such as Germany, the UK, Italy, and Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TV line belongs to the Neo QLED 4K series, succeeding the current QN90D series. With the addition of the 115-inch size, Samsung will expand the Neo QLED product portfolio beyond the 43- to 98-inch sizes. In particular, the product will use WHVA LCD panels provided by CSOT, a subsidiary of TCL Group. This panel integrates VA (Vertical Alignment) technology to improve viewing angles and display quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung announced at IFA 2023 that it is looking to surpass the 100-inch limit to maintain its leadership in the ultra-large TV market. The company will apply differentiated technologies, including connectivity and AI-based smart upscaling, to create a superior experience. In particular, customers who purchase Samsung AI TVs will receive free Tizen OS upgrade support for 7 years, ensuring that the device is always updated with the latest features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yong Seok-woo, President of Samsung Visual Display Business, said: \u201cAI TV is not just a TV, but also a bridge between devices in Samsung’s smart ecosystem. The combination of mobile devices, home appliances, and TVs will bring unique usage scenarios that other competitors cannot match.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the 100-inch and larger TV market is dominated by Chinese brands such as Hisense and TCL, with an impressive market share of 63.4% as of Q3 2024. However, Samsung hopes to challenge this position through its product launch strategy at the \u201cSamsung First Look 2025\u201d event in early January, right before CES 2025 in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition in this segment is heating up as LG Electronics has also introduced the LG QNED EVO series, which is 100 inches in size.
