Samsung has revealed how it\u2019s making Galaxy phones and tablets more secure. Project Infinity is designed to find security vulnerabilities in hardware and software and patch them as soon as possible.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung\u2019s Project Infinity makes Galaxy devices more secure by countering threats
<\/strong>Samsung\u2019s Project Infinity Cyber \u200b\u200bThreat Intelligence (CTI) team \u2013 along with RED, BLUE, and PURPLE \u2013 identifies real-world conditions that make Galaxy phones and tablets more secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RED and BLUE work on proactive attack and defense to find security vulnerabilities in devices. PURPLE, meanwhile, is responsible for attack and defense in a number of key areas. The three teams are spread across the world, including Brazil, Poland, Ukraine, and Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CTI team is directly responsible for releasing the security updates that Galaxy devices receive every month. They explore the deep web and the dark web, where security exploits, illegal hacking tools, malware, ransomware, and spyware are sold. It\u2019s also where you can find confidential information related to corporations and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a threat is discovered, Samsung security teams work with developers and operators to lock things down and fix the problem. Samsung also works with external members and agencies to identify threats and vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is offering rewards of up to $1 million to ethical hackers and developers who can identify vulnerabilities and attack them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
