At CES 2025, Samsung announced its new TV lineup for this year, including QLED, Neo QLED (4K and 8K), OLED, and new Lifestyle (The Frame and The Frame Pro). The company’s OLED TVs are now larger, brighter, and have faster refresh rates.
Samsung’s 2025 OLED TV lineup includes several 83” models
Samsung announced its new OLED TV lineup for this year, which includes three models:
- S85F (glossy, 120Hz)
- S90F (glossy, 144Hz)
- S95F (anti-glare, 165Hz)
They all come in 55”, 65”, 77”, and 83” sizes. The S90F also has two additional size options, 42” and 48”. The 83” option of the above TVs uses LG Display’s WOLED panel with a WRGB structure. The remaining sizes use Samsung’s fourth-generation QD-OLED panels.
The TVs are brighter and have higher refresh rates. The S95F – Samsung’s premium OLED TV for 2025 – features Glare Free 2.0 technology. The company says the new model handles glare and reflections better by reducing them even more.
We had hoped Samsung would bring its anti-glare technology to its cheaper OLED TVs, but it didn’t. The S85F and S90F still use glossy glass. All of the new OLED TVs have the same design as their predecessors.
All of the TVs feature a host of new AI features running on the device. The S90F and S95F are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, an upgrade over last year’s NQ4 AI Gen 2. The new processor has 128 neural networks compared to just 20 in the previous generation.
They may also run a newer version of Tizen OS. Samsung is expected to reveal more details about the software, availability, and pricing in the coming weeks.
YouTube channel HDTV Test has revealed that the S95F uses Samsung Display’s fourth-generation QD-OLED panel. The new technology is said to be capable of a peak brightness of 2,000 nits across 10 percent of the screen. The TV’s maximum full-screen brightness is said to be 390 nits.
Samsung’s new OLED TVs will be launched in a few countries in the coming weeks. Pricing is not expected to increase compared to their predecessors. However, we won’t know for sure until Samsung announces pricing for the products.
