Samsung is set to introduce a brand new AI Notification System (AI Notification System) with the Galaxy S25 series, bringing a smarter notification experience with the Now Bar feature. This is a new step in enhancing personalization and supporting users in their daily activities.
Now Bar first appeared in One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S24 series. This is a prominent feature that displays real-time activities such as schedules, music playback, translation, and health data directly on the lock screen. With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is expected to improve this feature further, turning it into a personalized notification center.
This new system will not only display regular notifications but also provide useful information based on context, especially when users are on the go or have changes in their daily routine. For example, when traveling abroad, the Now Bar will display important information such as flight times, airport traffic, weather at the destination, exchange rates, and personalized recommendations.
To ensure the safety of personal information, Samsung integrates “Personal Data Engine” technology combined with Knox Vault. This is a powerful encryption technology that protects biometric data and sensitive user information. As a result, information analyzed and stored on the Galaxy S25 will be safer than ever, with encryption and protection of all data exchanges between applications.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch on January 22, 2025, in the United States, including three versions: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung may introduce an additional Galaxy S25 Slim model with an ultra-thin design, but users may have to wait until the second quarter of next year to buy this product.
