Samsung is planning to introduce a number of new features based on Galaxy AI technology in the One UI 7.1 update, and one of the notable features could be Audio Eraser – a tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce unwanted noise in videos.

Audio Eraser helps eliminate powerful noise

According to Ice Universe, Samsung is developing the Audio Eraser feature, which uses Galaxy AI technology to recognize and process audio in videos. This feature is expected to appear only on high-end devices in the Galaxy series, thanks to its powerful AI processing capabilities.

Based on leaked images, this feature allows users to customize the volume of each separate sound in the video. Galaxy AI is capable of recognizing voices, wind, animal sounds, traffic sounds, and many other sounds, then providing tools to adjust each type of sound according to the user’s needs. For example, you can reduce the volume of wind and traffic noise to highlight voices in videos.

Galaxy S25 may be the first device equipped with Audio Eraser

Currently, the Audio Eraser feature is not available in the first beta version of One UI 7.0. This suggests that Samsung will most likely include this feature in the One UI 7.1 update, which is expected to launch with the Galaxy S25 series next month.

Audio Eraser promises to bring a professional audio editing experience without using third-party tools. This could be a big advantage for Samsung in competing with rivals, especially as more and more users need to shoot and edit videos directly on their mobile devices.

One UI 7.1 is not just a small update but could mark an important step forward in integrating AI into everyday features on Galaxy phones. With Audio Eraser, Samsung will provide users with a useful tool to enhance video quality, while opening up new potential for artificial intelligence-based applications.
