Samsung has unveiled new products for its Lifestyle TV line. A few years ago, the line included The Frame, The Serif, and The Sero. However, the company discontinued The Serif and The Sero. Today, at CES 2025, the company announced two new Lifestyle TVs: The Frame and The Frame Pro.
Samsung Unveils The Frame Pro with Neo QLED (Mini LED) Panel
Due to the growing demand for The Frame, Samsung has expanded the line with The Frame Pro. Both look like picture frames when hung on the wall. They have replaceable and customizable bezels.
Both The Frame and The Frame Pro offer improved picture quality compared to their predecessors. Both are equipped with 4K panels. The Frame uses a QLED panel, while The Frame Pro uses a QLED panel with Mini-LED backlighting.
However, this is not the usual Mini-LED backlighting that we know. Mini-LED panels typically have dozens to hundreds of small LEDs.
On The Frame Pro, the LEDs are still placed at the bottom. While it offers better picture quality and backlight and brightness control than the regular The Frame (or any other edge-lit LCD or QLED TV), it still won’t be as good as the regular Mini-LED TVs on the market.
The Frame Pro is equipped with the NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor, which offers upscaling of content to 4K resolution. It also improves sound quality thanks to AI.
It comes with a Wireless One Connect box that supports Wi-Fi 7 and regular input and output ports, allowing for more flexible installation.
Art Store is available on all Samsung TVs
Samsung also announced that the Art Store, previously only available on The Frame, is now coming to other QLED, Neo QLED, OLED, Micro LED, and Lifestyle TVs. Users can purchase artwork from famous artists and display it on their TVs. The Art Store also has a collection of free artwork.
Samsung has not yet announced detailed specifications for the new The Frame and The Frame Pro. Both should go on sale in the coming weeks.
