Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy S25 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, which is expected to take place next month. According to leaks, one of the biggest highlights of the lineup is a major upgrade from its Bixby virtual assistant. With AI technologies like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Google Gemini gaining momentum, Samsung could bring Bixby back into the race by integrating the Large Language Model (LLM).

According to a report from ET News, Bixby will be supported by LLM in South Korea and is expected to launch globally in January 2025, alongside the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung has previously offered a beta version in China but did not announce it publicly. Integrating generative AI into Bixby will allow users to get the best answers and content creation capabilities, making it a powerful tool on Galaxy devices.

Galaxy S25 Will Make You Pay for the New Bixby Upgrade

The new Bixby could be the key feature for the Galaxy S25 to compete with ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and other virtual assistants in the market. This approach will not only help Samsung increase its competitiveness but also bring a richer experience to users. Famous tipster @UniverseIce also confirmed that this will be a “highlight” in the marketing materials of the Galaxy S25 series.

In addition to Bixby, Samsung will also introduce the One UI 7 interface based on Android 15 at the upcoming Unpacked event. The new interface is currently in beta testing and promises to enhance AI features on Galaxy devices, such as Sketch to Image and Circle to Search. The combination of One UI 7 and the upgraded Bixby could make the Galaxy S25 a leader in the field of AI-integrated smartphones.

We will continue to update details about Bixby and the new features of the Galaxy S25. Stay tuned to SamCafe to not miss anything about the Galaxy S25 series.
