Remember the interactive projector The Premiere 5 that Samsung first announced at CES 2024? It never made it to the market last year. However, The Premiere 5 is back at CES this week.

Samsung introduced The Premiere 5 again at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, calling it “The industry’s first interactive triple laser projector.”

The Premiere 5 has a different design than The Premiere 7 and The Premiere 9. In addition, it supports touch interaction.

Basically, the image that The Premiere 5 projects can be interacted with by the user. For example, you can project a Match 3 game on a table and interact with the projected image as if you were using a touch screen.

Samsung didn’t say much about the specifications of The Premiere 5 during the presentation. However, based on what we saw a year ago and today, the product is capable of projecting a 100” 4K image from a distance of 43cm. There are also 10W speakers that can play even when there is no image being projected.

Other features we spotted include the ability to wirelessly mirror the screen from mobile devices and a customizable dashboard with widgets.

Sadly, although Samsung is introducing The Premiere 5 as a new product at CES 2025, it has been a year since its initial announcement and the product has yet to hit the market. The price and availability of The Premiere 5 remain a mystery.

Regardless, its presence at CES 2025 could be a sign that Samsung is planning to bring The Premiere 5 to consumers.
