Samsung has just announced the expansion of the Samsung Care+ extended warranty service, with a free screen repair offer for Galaxy devices starting from January 15, 2025. This is a new step that will bring significant benefits to users who have registered for the Care+ package.
Samsung Care+ is an extended warranty service for Galaxy devices such as smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, providing repair and replacement benefits when the device is damaged, stolen, or dropped, similar to Apple Care+. Previously, when the screen broke, users still had to pay a fee, usually from $ 29 per screen repair.
However, from January 2025, Samsung will completely waive the screen repair service for users who have registered for the Care+ with Theft and Loss package (the extended package includes theft insurance). This offer will be applied automatically without any additional procedures. The repair benefit covers the front and rear glass of Galaxy devices, excluding foldable displays on the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip.
This benefit will automatically take effect for eligible users from January 15, 2025. Samsung has also sent an official email notification to Care+ customers to ensure everyone is aware of the information.
In addition, starting this year, Samsung Care+ has added an unlimited battery replacement service, enhancing the user experience and protecting Galaxy devices for longer. The monthly fee for Care+ will depend on each device type, providing flexible options to suit user needs.
