Samsung is reportedly planning a press release for the Galaxy Ring next month. Nope! The next generation isn’t coming in January. However, @MaxJmb says the company may introduce two additional size options for the existing Galaxy Ring.
In addition to the nine existing size options, the Galaxy Ring will come in a total of 11 size options. Specifically, Samsung is said to be releasing:
- A size 14 (US standard) with a diameter of 23mm and model number SM-Q514.
- A size 15 (US standard) with a diameter of 23.8mm and model number SM-Q515.
The larger Galaxy Ring may have a slightly longer battery life. This applies to the current Galaxy Ring, which comes in sizes 5 to 13.
Samsung is said to be introducing the above two size options for the Galaxy Ring in January. However, it is unclear whether the press release will coincide with the Galaxy S24 series release date.
The next Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place on January 22, where Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. We may also hear about the Samsung XR and a few other products.
It is likely that the new Galaxy Ring sizes will be available in the current color options, which include Titanium Silver, Titanium Gold, and Titanium Black. They will also be priced the same as the other options. There is currently no price difference between the Galaxy Ring sizes.
After January, we suspect that Samsung may introduce a new sizer that includes models for all size options, from 5 to 15.
